Welcome
This is the website of Andy Carter, a theoretical Physicist working in the Physics department of the University of Sheffield in the UK. My main area of research interest is in the study of the nonlinear effects of semiconductor microcavities, in particular optical parametric oscillation. I am also interested in light possessing orbital angular momentum.
Details of my research can be found in the research section of this site.
